Infant / Toddler Center
Facts about the Infant / Toddler Center
- Our Infant Room seeks to maintain a ratio of one adult to three babies.
- Our Toddler Room strives to run with a one adult to four toddler ratio.
- In both rooms we work with a child's parent(s) or guardian to help the child develop self-help, communication and relationship skills.
- We encourage the children to be at the Center for at least two days a week for their integration into the program, but we do not require this. We offer part time, flexible care in order to meet the unique needs of individuals and their families.
What Parents Must Supply
- Make sure that you mark everything you send to the Center with your child’s name. Please refer to the list below for particular things for particular rooms.
- Infant Room: schedule for your child, diapers, extra clothes, special blankets, wipes, all formula and food, pacifiers.
- Toddler Room: diapers, all food, wipes, crib sheet to fit our mats, blankets, extra clothes and socks, pacifier if needed.
Meals
- Infants eat on their schedule.
- Toddler Room: We will serve breakfast to children if they arrive between 6:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Parents must provide this meal. The individual room schedules vary. Again, please talk to your child’s own teachers to find out details for specific room.
- In all rooms except the Infant Room the Center provides morning and afternoon snacks. We ask that parents bring all food for their infants. Breakfast and lunch for children in the Toddler Room must be provided by their families.
Food
- Breakfast and Lunch are provided by the children’s families and in the Toddler Room these meals are eaten "family style." That means we will sit together and talk as we each eat our own meals. We will work on using our manners, making conversation and using good eating habits while we dine.
- Snacks are provided to the Toddler Room by Kings School Kids and they are eaten family style.
Hours
Care is provided Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
